“My very first job in Särkänniemi Adventure Park dates back to 1999, when I started as a seasonal Security and Customer Services employee. Since then, I haven’t been able or willing to leave our park for long periods of time. During the past 10 years I’ve monitored our industry from different angles in various management positions: rides operations, games, retail and development projects. Currently as a Development Director, I’m working on a new business strategy for our company to lead our attractions as a whole towards an even brighter future. Our goal is to create new opportunities for growth and tackle the negative impact of some “Nordic challenges”, such as very short summer seasons, unstable weather conditions and relatively small market area.”
