How to Use Special Events to Boost Revenues and Attendance

Date Wednesday, 7 October 2015
Time 13:45 - 15:15

Session Description

Not every day is a peak attendance day at an attraction and with high fixed costs, driving attendance is a key concern for every attractions operator.  Across Europe attractions are enjoying success with events and special programs to fill these slow times. This session will present a number of case-studies of successful events from concerts series to special shoulder season events and group sales activities.

We will see how Cinecitta World in Italy leverages its heritage within the movie making business via a series of successful cinema events on slow days. Liseberg will present an overview of its incredibly successful concert series and other live entertainment at the park, and Jora Entertainment will examine its approach and philosophy to event planning.
