How Ideas Develop from a Concept to a New Attraction

Date    Tuesday, 6 October 2015
Time    12:00 - 13:30

Session Description

Whether it’s a single ride or show, a themed area, or an entire facility, developing an attraction is a complex process involving many parts and partners from designers to manufacturers and from operators to the guests.

Is there an “art” or science to this process and can attractions operators learn from the experience of other designers, project managers and master planners?

In the session we will explore how attractions projects go from the “blue sky” phase where anything is considered possible to the execution phase and then final installation phase of a project. We will hear the views of both manufacturers and facility operators.
