Ellen Verburg is an industry expert on additional income, visual merchandising and retail in attraction parks industry with nearly 20 years in retail business, managing teams, creating a new merchandise brand, buying merchandise and negotiating new contracts. Ellen manages her own team in Walibi Holland and also consults for other parks, providing cost effective solutions to growing revenue and decreasing costs and is always looking for new trends in the market.

Zdenka Conflant, Head of Business Development & Sales for Business Solutions, Disneyland Paris, France

Zdenka is performance driven and has been leading a rich leadership career for more than 22 years. She started in F&B, went through 10 years of Business Optimization and for the past 5 years, she’s Head of Sales and Development of Business Solutions, dedicated to the MICE events at Disneyland Paris. Zdenka oversees 60 employees and over 500 corporate events per year. She combines strategic, business and financial skills and is valued for translating strategic plans into workable solutions. Zdenka holds an Executive MBA from EDHEC school and is keen on transmitting her experience. She teaches new talents Strategic Events Management at MSc in La Rochelle Business School as well as at EM NORMANDY.

Bryan Fish
Bryan Fish, Operations Director, Yas Waterworld U.A.E

Bryan began his leisure and amusement career in 1994 as a lifeguard in Ocala, FL, USA. In 2001 he accepted a fulltime waterpark management role after graduating with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. His career spans theme parks, waterparks, and FECs both large and small as well as corporate and privately owned. In 2012 Bryan made the international leap to join the pre-opening team for Yas Waterworld where he now serves as the park’s Operations Director.
Bryan has served on the Steering Committee of Florida’s Bureau of Fair Rides and Inspections, a department that conducts inspections and investigations of amusement parks in the state of Florida. He has also served as a member of World Waterpark Association’s (WWA) Education Committee, a faculty member for the International Aquatic Safety School, and a member of Abu Dhabi’s Lifeguard Occupational Standards Committee working with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council for the formation of Federal standards.
