IAAPA Safety Institute

For the first time, EAS will present a designated day for all technical experts and interested individuals, the IAAPA Safety Institute at Disneyland® Paris. Do not miss out on this amazing opportunity of learning, networking and backstage magic!

Safety has many faces
Following a light lunch, the first part of the safety-related seminar will include discussions from renowned experts on interesting topics. What advanced technology is used to design and construct save rides? These and many more questions will be answered.

Accessibility and its opportunities
After a short coffee break, the importance of accessibility will be the main discussion point. Annette Masson, President from the French authority office “Association Tourisme et Handicap” will present the importance of accessible destinations. A presentation on accessibility strategy and methodology combined with a video on Disneyland® Resort Paris, that has won many awards for its professional approach in this matter, will give you inspiration to implement ideas in your own facility to ensure a safe and inviting environment for all guests.

Backstage Magic
A transfer will bring you to the backstage areas of the resort afterwards. You will have the opportunity to see unique behind the scene areas that only few have seen before you! You will visit the backstage of roller coasters, evacuation areas, personnel rooms and even a shaft of the world famous Tower of Terror during the 2h long tour.

Mix, Mingle and Explore
To end the backstage tour, you can share your impressions with your colleagues during a delightful cocktail reception. Afterwards, you will be offered some free time to explore, eat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the resort.

The Grand Finale
But a day at Disneyland® Resort would not be complete without the chance to see the BigE Award Winner of 2012, the spectacular Disney Dreams® show! You will have access to an exclusive seating area to enjoy the show in the best possible way.
