Today´s marketing landscape has never been more complex, but how do you actually you find a way forward to grow your business?

How much should you focus on digital marketing versus traditional media? How is Social Media developing? What should you do inhouse and what should you put on agencies to do? How should you develop your marketing team? How much should you trust emotional brand marketing versus tactical and sales-driven marketing? This session will address some the most important ”cross road” questions in marketing. We won´t be able to give you all the answers, but give you some relevant and inspirational perspectives and directions taken by some parks that are focusing on marketing as an important business tool. Even this session will hold a panel discussion.


Host - Robert Arvidsson, Head of Marketing, Liseberg

Robert is Head of Marketing at Liseberg and member of the management team. His key responsibilities includes group brand strategy, marketing and digital business development. Robert held different senior brand management and e-commerce positions in retail and airline industries. He also worked as a consultant in brand and communications agencies. Robert holds a BA in Marketing Communications and an MBA in Strategic Brand Management.

Tessa Maessen, Communication Manager, Toverland

Tessa Maessen (28) has been working at Attractiepark Toverland for over 15 years. She started as an assistant in the workplace and has subsequently exercised various positions. As a result, she knows the company extremely well, which is very useful in her current role as Communications Manager. Tessa has been working in this position now for a year and a half and was responsible for the communication with regard to the recent expansion of Toverland. Tessa studied Leisure Management at the NHTV in Breda.

Rosella Passier
Rosella Passier, Head of Marketing, Libema Fun Factory

Rosella is responsible for developing and executing the brand and marketing strategies for the Libéma Leisure department (Safaripark Beekse Bergen, Aquazoo, Zooparc Overloon, Dierenrijk, Klimrijk, Aviodrome), the Travel department (Safari Resort and Vacation park Beekse Bergen, Dierenbos) and the B2B Department (Brabanthallen, Expo Haarlemmermeer, local venues and events- and sportsmarketing).
