Paul Kent, Senior Consultant, Electrosonic, UK

Paul is a senior consultant at Electrosonic, where he consults on Entertainment business; museum, theme park, visitor center and resort destinations. Paul has an education in technical theatre, and prior to joining Electrosonic, he worked on live event production, attraction design and operation companies. Paul originally joined Electrosonic in 1996 as a project engineer. In the following years he moved to Orlando and the Middle East as a Project Consultant. Following a brief hiatus away from Electrosonic, Paul re-joined the company in 2012. He has an extensive experience in master planning, entertainment technology, construction management and operations, which he brings to all of the projects he is involved in. Paul is the President of TEA for Europe and Middle East division (EME).

Anne Roelandt, Vice-President, Managing Director & Artistic Producer, Luc Petit CREATION, Belgium

Passionate about shows and willing to complete her knowledge of the event sector, she starts to study the Production of Performing Art at the IAD where she meets Luc Petit and becomes his collaborator. She is in charge of the management of the company Luc Petit CREATION as well as the artistic production of projects.

Leading and guiding, she runs everywhere, seeks, explains, translates and coordinates all the different partners to carry out the projects. The needs of each creation leads her to, each time, perform a different and varied work.

She selects her partners in order to reach the widest audience possible, combining thereby human experiences from all artistic disciplines.

She has worked on projects such as Décrocher La Lune for Dragone, Texas Aggies go to war, in Bastogne and INFERNO, the opening show of the commemorations of the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo which have all been awarded.

Dave Cobb

David Cobb, Principal, Creative Development, Thinkwell, United States 

As Principal of Creative Development at Thinkwell, Dave Cobb guides project development from concept through all the phases of design with a focus on story and guest experience. From theme parks, rides and attractions, to museums, retail and resorts, Dave has collaborated on numerous entertainment projects all over the world, constantly looking for new ways to integrate technology, interactivity, and theatricality to engage and excite an audience. Dave has consulted on numerous projects for nearly every entertainment medium, for such diverse clients as Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Cirque du Soleil, Nickelodeon, NASCAR, Hershey’s Chocolate, Universal Studios, Six Flags, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, and the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Committee. Prior to Thinkwell, Dave worked for Paramount Parks, Universal Studios and Landmark Entertainment, and is known in the themed entertainment industry for his innovative and unmatched approach. Dave is a much sought after speaker at international entertainment conferences including SATE, Gamification Expo, and EvenTech and was included in the IAAPA Future Legends Panel at IAAPA 2012.

Jean-Christophe Canizares, CEO, ECA2, France

With 20 years of experience in the company, Jean-Christophe Canizares leads a team that includes talents in the fields of creation, engineering, logistics, project management and production, perpetuating ECA2’s unique quality: a combination of creativity, technical and operational know-how and innovation.

After qualifying as an engineer and his debut as a technical manager working on concerts and festivals, he worked with ECA2 for the first time in 1992 on the opening of Eurodisney. Some further external collaborations later, he became a fully fledged member of ECA2’s in 1994.

Over this time, Jean-Christophe Canizares has participated in and produced all of ECA2’s shows. First as Technical Director, then as Chief of Operations and finally as CEO, he has gained invaluable experience, which has made it possible to accomplish incredible and successful shows all around the world. 

Chris Lange
Chris Lange, Creative Director, Europa-Park, Germany

Chris Lange started his career in the Entertainment Business 18 years ago as a Line Producer on commercials and music videos for international record companies.  Chris then moved into the world of Themed Entertainment when he became Creative Producer at a scenic workshop.  There, Chris created an entirely new division for the company where he was solely responsible for the design and implementation of major tourist attractions.  While there, Chris created world class attractions and destinations for such internationally known brands such as SEA LIFE and The Dungeon. Chris next went to work for the Merlin Entertainments Group as Creative Director for the LEGOLAND Discovery Centers. Finally, in 2007, Chris took his talents and years of experience and founded his own company, Creative Design & Services.

In 2010 Chris embarked on international career in themed entertainment when he was hired as Senior Art Director for India´s first Theme Park project – Adlab´s Imagica located just outside Mumbai.  Chris continued his career as a Senior Art Director for Genting Group in Singapore where he worked on the 20th Century Fox Movie World in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, designing attractions for such high-profile IP’s as Ice Age, Night at the Museum or Sons of Anarchy. While there, Chris also designed Resort Worlds Jeju Myths & Legend Theme Park in South Korea.

Chris then returned to Europe and joined Europa-Park in 2015 as Creative Director and head of Mack Solutions, the in-house Creative & Design Department. Chris is creatively responsible for all new attractions in the park as well as refurbishing projects and future expansion. Chris is also heading up the resort development team on a project that will include a water park, RD&E zone and more hotels.

Chris is proud of creating many unique and exciting visitor experiences for audiences of all ages around the world.

Laetitia-Galesloot
Laetitia Galesloot, Company Manager / Production Assistant, Luc Petit Creation, Belgium

Throughout her studies in Public Relations and Fashion Management, she is involved in various events both in Belgium and abroad. Eager to continue and develop her abilities in the event industry, she joins the team of Luc Petit CREATION. Her international experience, her management skills and her basic knowledge of Chinese leads her to work on one or the other project in China and support the team in its daily administrative tasks.
