Event Description

See whats new in the industry. Hear about results or impacts products made on facilities in 2017. Vivid round table discussions provide participants with speed learning on topics related to this year´s novelties. Each presenter will present for 10 minutes, then they will join a table for in-depth discussions on the details related to their speeches. Advance ticket purchase and Expo registration required. Space is limited. Must be 18 or older.

Andreas Veilstrup Andersen, CEO & President, Liseberg Group, Sweden

Andreas is the CEO and President of the Liseberg Group, running one of Scandinavia’s biggest amusement parks, in Gothenburg, Sweden. Andreas has a legal and financial background, and has been working in the amusement park industry since 2000, first at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, and later as Executive Director of IAAPA’s European operations in Brussels, Belgium. Andreas is currently First Vice Chair of IAAPA, and will take over as Chairman in November 2017.

Massimiliano Freddi

Massimiliano Freddi, V.P Strategic Development Leolandia, Italy 
(member of Iaapa Emea Education sub-committee)

Led by a strong passion for the amusement parks industry, after his studies in marketing and communication, Massimiliano began his career as a Marketing, Press & PR Manager Italy for Disneyland Paris. In 2008, he took on the challenge to join the team in charge of relaunching the 40-years old miniature facility Minitalia, Milano, and turned it into a cutting edge theme park. 
After running  Leolandia as a General Manager for seven years, Massimiliano became  V.P Strategic Development. The park is  Italy’s number one park for families with children under 10, with a strong focus on safety, accessibility, environment and service. 

Kim-Schaefer

Kim Schäfer, Head of Sales & Marketing, Tropical Islands, Germany

Kim Schäfer, born November 1966 in Marburg / Lahn, studied Marketing and Economics at Johannes-Gutenberg-University in Mainz. He worked for 12 years for Sony Music Entertainment (Columbia Records) in Frankfurt and Berlin in marketing for national and international artists. Since 2007 he works with Tropical Islands where he is since 4 years completely responsible for the sales & marketing department with a staff of 40. The team most recently won the “EWA Awards for the most innovative marketing campaign – Tropical Islands – Amazonia” and the “German Brand Award” for Tropical Islands Amazonia.
