Ellen Verburg is an industry expert on additional income, visual merchandising and retail in attraction parks industry with nearly 20 years in retail business, managing teams, creating a new merchandise brand, buying merchandise and negotiating new contracts.

Ellen manages her own team in Walibi Holland and also consults for other parks, providing cost effective solutions to growing revenue and decreasing costs and is always looking for new trends in the market.

Iben Marburger Juul

Iben Marburger Juul, General Manager, Nimb, Denmark

Since her education at Schweizerische Hotelfachschule in Luzern, Iben Marburger Juul has pushed the boundaries of personal service and challenged the ways of doing marketing in the hotel sector. After holding several management positions within Radisson Blu, in Copenhagen and in Brussels, Iben launched her own, successful service consultancy company in Denmark. Her expertise in service and her ability to come up with novel event ideas led her to Sølyst, a 500 year old mansion outside of Copenhagen, of which HRH Queen Margrethe of Denmark is a patron. In just four years, Iben managed to create a turnaround for the company by focusing on cultural events, food festivals, jazz concerts etc. Currently, she is the General Manager at the Nimb Hotel with its seven restaurants and bars and additional event- and meeting spaces. Nimb Hotel is placed in the centre of the Tivoli amusement park.

Michel Meyer

Michel Meyer, F&B Manager, Futuroscope, France

Michel Meyer graduated from the famous Business & Hospitality School of Strasbourg. After various positions in the Hotel and Restaurant industry, he integrated Futuroscope in 1994 as restaurant Manager and was promoted as Manager in charge of global Food and Beverage on the go activities since 2000. Michel also participated in global CDA food development carrying his 27 years expertise throughout parks. 

Bas Bakkers

Bas Bakkers, International Manager Leisure and Travel, The Coca-Cola Company, The Netherlands

Bas Bakkers is working for The Coca-Cola Company and leading the international engagement with the Leisure and Hotel Industry.

Bas has 20 years of experience in the Coca-Cola system where he was responsible for Sales and Business development roles in the Home and Away from Home markets in The Netherlands.
