Evelyne Villame
Evelyne Villame, Consultant and Founder of La Boîte aux Enfants, France
(member of Iaapa Emea Education sub-committee)

Evelyne led marketing strategy, brand and product development for more than 20 years, working for the French group Compagnie des Alpes , Parc Astérix and Musée Grévin as well as for various leisure facilities around Europe. In 2009, Evelyne plunged into the “small is beautiful” business and started an FEC company La Boîte aux Enfants, with her fellow partner Gaëtan Le Jariel. So far, they have developed 11 Children Entertainments Centers including those named Gulli Parc, for Gulli, the leading French kids TV channel. Evelyne’s business quest is that parents enjoy themselves as much as their children. Member of IAAPA since many years, Evelyne also sits on the Global Iaapa FEC Committee. 

 
Andreas Sievering
Andreas Sievering, CEO FORT FUN Abenteuerland, Germany

Andreas became CEO of FORT FUN in 2015, after running the park as General Manager for 2 years. He was the Technical Manager of the park from 2008 to 2013 under the company name of One World NRW. As a technical expert, Andreas established an historical maintenance and refurbishment program which revitalized the park. He also created and developed 2 entertainment projects which boosted the popularity of the site; the award winning show “Holy Forest” and “ Fort Fear” , one of the best Halloween events in Germany. This year, Fort Fun has just opened its new children’s area L.A.B.S. Andreas has a technical background that he developed before joining the Attractions Industry. He worked as carpenter, a boat builder and a technical officer of a ski resort. Andreas is also a coach of the junior soccer team TSV Bigge Olsberg.

 
Duncan Philips
Duncan Phillips, Founder of Duncan Phillips Associates (DPA) and DP Leisure, UK
 
Duncan has spent a lifetime in the family entertainment and attractions industry, working on the family park during the school holidays and gained a unique insight into the operation and development of the emerging visitor attraction industry in the UK. He applied his Masters Degree in Urban Design and environmental planning to the attractions industry to work on new layouts and see how they can influence the operational side of the business.Duncan spent some 15 years building up Gulliver’s theme parks expanding them across the country; by the early 2008 it became the largest family owned theme park group in the UK.   From 2008, Duncan set up DP Associates (DPA) in 2008 and the sister company DP Leisure. He worked on Bletchey Park, renovated Dreamland Margate and rolled out a new breed of visitor attraction, 360play, the FEC in Milton Keynes. New sites open this year and in 2017 and franchise models are planned in Europe. Duncan is involved in several associations, including the IAAPA global FEC Committee. He is BOD of BALPPA.

 
Jean Habre
Jean Habre, Senior Director International Development Al Hokair Group, KSA & U.A.E

Jean is a leader in Leisure projects and has more than 25 years of experience in Hospitality and Entertaiment Industry in MENA region with the same ISO certified Al Hokair Group, Saudi Arabia & UAE based. With his MBA in Architecture, Jean worked for several large Mix Used Projects covering the planning, design, construction management, procurement, opening and operations from Morocco to India and the Gulf region.Jean was General Manager for 8 years of the Entertainment Division of AL Hokair group, which has 64 Entertainment centers. He is currently BOD member in charge of sourcing new concepts such as Edutainment, Foodtainment, Sportainment and Shows. Jean is a founding and BOD member of the Middle East, North Africa, Leisure and Attractions Council (MENALAC)

 
 
Johan Granholm
Johan Granholm, Director of Themed Attractions Division at Lappset Group, Finland
 
Johan  was appointed as Sales Marketing Director in the beginning of 2010. In 2014 Lappset Group established a new division called Lappset Creative, which is specializing in the Themed Attractions business. Johan is leading this division since then. Before joining Lappset, Johan had a long and extensive career as director of sales and marketing with Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., in which he led the European, Middle-East and African business operations based in Switzerland. Johan holds an MBA and is also the Honorary Consul for Denmark in the area of Northern Finland. 

 
Kyle Allison
Kyle Allison, Owner and General Manager, Andy Alligator’s Fun Park & Water Park, USA

Kyle owns & operates Andy Alligator’s Fun Park & Water Park in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. He grew up in the family business working in several positions prior to his move to Denver, CO to attend college at Johnson & Wales University. While working on his degree in Sports, Entertainment, Event Management, Kyle worked for Kroenke Sports Enterprises in special event sales, which owned and operated the Pepsi Center and all 5 teams that played in their venue. In 2008 Kyle returned to Oklahoma and re-joined his family’s company, Allison’s Fun Incorporated where he oversees the operation of their companies and continued growth in the entertainment industry. He led the expansion of Andy Alligator’s Fun Park to open a 4.5 million dollar water park in May, 2012. Kyle also serves on the City Council in his hometown of Norman, OK. He is an active member of the IAAPA Membership Committee and a new IAAPA BOD member.

 
Ruzha Karaatanasova
Ruzha Karaatanasova , CEO Funtopia franchising, Bulgaria

Ruzha has a consistent experience in Business Development and Optimization for the sports entertainment industry. For more than 10 years she has been involved in strategic planning and concept development of innovative entrepreneurial business models applicable in Family Entertainment Centers and Real Estate. She has a distinct approach to the entertainment business bringing together customer needs and economic sustainability. Her professional path includes companies such as Adventure Facility (AFCM) and Walltopia, climbing walls. Ruzha is currently the CEO of Funtopia Franchising - a concept bringing outdoor excitement indoors. She is also involved as Managing Partner in Safety Operations, Vice-Chief executive officer for skyhiker.eu and boulderland.eu.

 
Robert Arvidsson
Robert Arvidsson, Head of Marketing Liseberg, Sweden

Robert is Head of Marketing at Liseberg and member of the management team. His key responsibilities includes group brand strategy, marketing and digital business development. With the opening of Helix in 2014, Mechanica and the launching of the first Halloween event in 2015, Robert’s team played a strategic part in the growth of Liseberg . In 2016 the park launched its new area Liseberg Gardens with the spinning coaster AeroSpin. Prior to Liseberg, Robert held different senior brand management and e-commerce positions in retail and airline industries. He also worked as a consultant in brand and communications agencies. Robert holds a BA in Marketing Communications and an MBA in Strategic Brand Management.


 

 
Laurent Mancy

“Jimbaloo is the FEC I founded in Reims, France (130 km East of Paris) in 2005. My background, as many of my peers, has nothing to do with the Leisure Industry. I am a petroleum engineering graduate and I have worked for ten years selling industrial lubricants and chemicals before taking my chance and launching my own business. I’m the Chairman of « SPACE », the French Association of indoor FECs for children since 2014. SPACE was founded in 2008 by a group of 15 FECs and has today more than 110 member parks.”
