Important Visa Information

For most travelers, visas are required to travel to Brazil, but entry requirements vary from country to country. Attendees of the 2013 Leadership Conference should request a tourist visa for the event.
We do know that all individuals entering Brazil holding a U.S. Passport are required to obtain a visa. Please click here for the Consulate General of Brazil in Chicago, USA to find your country of origin to review visa requirements. The acquisition of visas is the responsibility of the individual traveler. In addition to application forms, you may also be requested to present travel documentation (airline ticket or itinerary), vaccination record, passport, one (1) passport photo and an invitation letter. During the registration process for this meeting, IAAPA will collect you and your spouse’s information (if applicable) and will create a visa letter and letter of invitation 3-5 business days after registration. The letters will be created on U.S. and Brazilian letterhead.

Please contact your local Brazilian consulate for additional details and assistance. The visa process can be time consuming and to ensure you receive your travel documents in time for travel, we recommend you begin working on your travel arrangements and register immediately.
