FEC Las Vegas - a conference for FEC operators, by FEC operators. FEC Las Vegas was a resounding success with over 170 registrants representing our global FEC industry. Participants found their way to the prestigious JW Marriott from 33 U.S. States, 3 Provinces in Canada, Spain, Argentina, England, Australia, Korea, Iceland and Honduras. FEC's specializing in bowling, lazertag, waterparks, inflatables, arcades and even cinema joined to learn more from 9 industry professionals and themselves over the 2.5 day program.
One of the many highlights was a luncheon speech by Matt Gray, General Manager of Retail Operations for Disneyland, California, focusing on guest service.
This event was generously sponsored by 26 suppliers to the FEC industry. Their active participation in all workshops brought new insight and understanding to the discussions.
Following the business portion of each day, we celebrated by coming together on the beautiful outdoor patio of the JW Marriott for libations and entertainment. After hours, our generous platinum sponsor AIR, IAAPA's new insurance partner, welcomed all delegates to their posh hospitality suite for more food and fun.
It was an event not to be missed!
FEC Las Vegas 2014 partnered with the organizers of Amusement Expo to host FEC Las Vegas in advance of Amusement Expo and the conference fee included admission to this popular trade show, which featured over 100 vendors at the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 26 and 27.
Congratulations to Russell Allison from Andy's Alligators and Dutch McGrath, winners of our Give Kids the World Auction. They supported a very worthy cause, while walking away with new Tablets.
Through the generous support of all members participating in our after hours Poker Run, we raised another $800 for the IAAPA foundation.
Ideas were shared. All were engaged. The outcome will be that we grow. WHAT HAPPENED IN VEGAS WILL NOT STAY IN VEGAS.
