29 - 30 January 2019 — Canary Islands, Spain
(Optional Post Tour: 31 January 2019)

Siam Park

In January 2019, IAAPA EMEA is hosting its first event on the Canary Islands. Take this opportunity to learn, discover, and experience the best leisure destinations on Tenerife and Grand Canary.

Learn best practices in water parks, zoos and aquariums and learn about their operations, security, crisis communication, food and beverage, and VIP experiences.

Visit two globally renowned attractions: 'Siam Park' and 'Loro Parque' in Tenerife, both voted as best facility worldwide in their category by TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice Awards.

In addition, participants of the IAAPA EMEA Winter Forum have the opportunity to add on a unique visit to Grand Canary to explore the newly opened 'Poema Del Mar' aquarium.

Enjoy a great opportunity to network with industry colleagues.

Crisis Communication Seminar

Planning for an incident or emergency situation is an essential part of any attraction's facility operations toolbox. It involves co-operation and coordination both within the attractions management team as well as with outside agencies.

Learn from your peers during the educational seminar on crisis communication. How did Merlin Entertainments communicate after the Smiler incident? How did Europa-Park approach guests and stakeholders during and after the fire last year?

We sincerely hope you never have to deal with similar crises, but preparation and thorough planning are key to effective communication during difficult times. Join the Winter Forum and learn about incident planning from the experiences of other operators and take back best practices to your facility.
