Board of Directors
IAAPA is governed by a board of directors. The board of directors supervises, directs, and controls the policies and programs of the association. Each director has a fiduciary duty to be loyal to the association, to act in its best interests, to avoid conflicts of interests, to maintain the confidentiality of association information, and to avoid utilizing the office for personal gain. The board has 28 directors—chair, first vice chair, second vice chair, third vice chair, immediate past chair, treasurer, president/CEO, 15 elected facility or life member directors, three manufacturer and supplier member directors, and three advisory board member directors.
