Application Process 

  • All awards entries should be submitted online.  

  • Download the 2017 IAAPA Brass Ring Awards Live Entertainment Excellence PowerPoint submission file. Use this file to submit your supplemental materials. You may use PowerPoint's features to insert text, photos, graphics, images, audio and video to support your application.

  • Your PowerPoint file can have as many slides as you need. 

  • Use a separate PowerPoint file for each award category that you submit.  

  • Use the naming convention detailed in the PowerPoint submission file when saving each award category.  

  • When you are ready to submit your awards entries, click on the Register Here button and complete the registration and payment process. You can register for multiple categories at this time.

  • When the registration and payment process is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to upload the PowerPoint files.  

  • Embedded audio and video: If your PowerPoint contains embedded audio or video files, be sure to include those files when you upload the PowerPoint. Alternatively, you can add a link in the PowerPoint to a YouTube video.

  • Upload the required files and PowerPoints for each category. You will get the link to this site once you have completed the application.

New for 2017:

One show may only be submitted to one category. However, one facility may submit multiple shows to the same category.

Supplemental Materials 

Category 1 – 3, Individual performers or the Spirt Award:
Complete the Powerpoint application template including a link to a 2-3 minute video testimonial or introduction of the nominated individual.

Category  4 – 5, Events or attractions that are not “staged” (i.e Halloween haunts)
Complete the Powerpoint application template including a link to a 5-8 minute video montage of the event.

Category 6 – 15, Show productions
Complete the Powerpoint application template including a link to a video of the full show.
