Skyline’s New Coaster Warps Riders’ Perceptions

Skyline Attractions (Booth #5429) officially unveiled Skywarp, a new roller coaster intended to solve the vexing problem of limited thrill-ride options available around the $2 million price point. The company said the ride offers a large and visible structure, major thrills, inversions, speed, interaction, and a capacity of 800 riders per hour, while simplifying operations and maintenance.

The ride features twin loops, which produce a dueling, near-miss element that brings riders close to one another through the use of a long single train, with passengers sitting at each end and a non-rider section of train in the middle. This approach creates what will feel to riders like two trains on the same track, since they are separated by considerable distance. The coaster is 62 feet tall with a track length of 360 feet and fits on a site just 30 feet wide and 120 feet long.

Skyline Attraction’s booth features a working model of Skywarp, along with a themed kids ride called Crazy Crab.
